Daniel Gurevitch
2022 Remote Peace Fellow
During his fellowship, Daniel Gurevitch was a junior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Political Science and Psychology with a minor in Computer Science. His interests lie in Peace and Conflict Resolution, an area of study he learned more about through his work as a Peace Fellow with the Children’s Peace Initiative Kenya. Daniel has experience traveling and working abroad, visiting the United Kingdom, Mexico, France, and more as well as virtually interning with the Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship. As the grandson of immigrants forced to leave Egypt due to religious persecution, Daniel has a deep interest in pursuing a career path that will allow him to help defend individuals’ rights in ways his grandparents were not afforded. As a remote Peace Fellow, Daniel supported Julia, Monica, and Hilary by creating social media posts, helping to organize a fundraiser, and researching future grant opportunities.
